How will the jump

Before landing, parachutists are distributed by weight – the heaviest must jump first. The plane makes circles above the airfield, quickly gaining altitude, while it can lay ears. The instructor signs who prepares, opens the hatch. At an altitude of about 800 m, a buzzer sounds: 2 short beeps of the siren – “get ready”. Very little time is allotted for training – just a few seconds, otherwise the paratroopers will have to be collected in the area of several kilometers later. Paratroopers one by one approach the open door, the left foot stands on the edge of the door, the right, half-bent one is slightly behind. The weight must be transferred to the right leg and not look out of the plane. Hands should be crossed on the chest. After a long siren, waiting for a slap on the shoulder and the “Go!” Command, the novice jumps into the abyss.

People in the eyes of those who remained in the plane disappear without a trace in the air. But this is not a reason to abandon the jump! Remembering thought the point of the parachutist, which you have long learned by heart: “1001”, “1002”, “1003” – “RING!”. Tugged at the ring – the parachute opened. “1004”, “1005” – “DOME!”. We look up, if everything is revealed and whether it is revealed correctly. “STOCK!”. Disable the automatic opening of the reserve parachute. “IT WAS LOOKING OUT!”. We are spinning on the harness, looking for someone close in the air. “DONE!”. Make yourself comfortable. Fly! Enjoy the silence and sensations of flight. “SADS!” About ten meters from the ground, the horizon suddenly “jumps” abruptly upwards. It’s time to get ready for landing. At this moment it is necessary to group: legs together, half-bent, feet parallel to the ground, the chin pressed to the chest. You can not look at the horizon, but only at his feet. When planting, it is necessary to touch the ground with both feet at the same time, otherwise the load on them may be unevenly distributed and, as a result, a fracture is possible. To soften the blow, the skydiver falls on his back or side.

After landing, the dome, together with the knapsack and the lines, is folded into a special bag that is attached to the chest. At first, the satchel and the slings are folded into the bag, then the dome itself rolls into several layers. With this belongings you need to go to the place of packing parachutes. After landing, all brave men are issued certificates of the jump.

Where to jump with a parachute and how much does it cost?
The theoretical course of the classical scheme on one of the famous drop-zone (this word parachutists among themselves call the airfield for jumping) will cost 4,500 rubles, according to the AFF program – about 30 thousand rubles. Constantly running the airfield in Stupin.

If you want to study further, the next step will be a jump with a few seconds of free flight. It takes place from a height of 3-4 kilometers, and the parachute opens with a delay of a couple of tens of seconds. But such pleasure is possible only if you made more than a dozen jumps.
